it also depends on the game you play, i don't play halo 3 much, but there's a bunch of insults going on in Gears. same with warhawk, there are always some tools there. However, i don't experience anything like that playing Tekken DR online. I'm not sure how VF5 online on 360 is since i didn't want to pay for that game twice, but maybe it's the same as tekken 5 where people are more respectful.

all the games i mentioned are killer apps because many people purchased the system just to play that specific game, perhaps oblivion isn't a killer app, because i don't know of a lot of people who purchased a ps3 just to play it, but the others are.

now excuse me if i'm wrong, but trophies are not the same as achievements. You get a trophy for completing the game or doing something major. The accomplishments will be sony's equivalent to achievements.

It's just an opinion guys. As long as the game is a 10/10 for you, then who cares if the guy gives it a 1/10? sure it sucks because it gives fanboys fuel to criticise the game. But as long as you enjoyed it, then you got your money's worth.

p.s. A game does not need to have a killer MP in order to be fun. the single player campaign should be first and foremost the top priority. That's why i would never vote warhawk for GOTY.
